Alex Moore joined Rathbones as a collectives research analyst in 2015 and was named head of collectives research three years later.

He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s quantitative and qualitative research on third-party strategies, as well as the multi-asset team’s collectives investments.

After graduating from Durham University in 2004 with a degree in economics, he spent close to eight years with Dimensional Fund Advisors, latterly as an investment associate, overseeing research across eight emerging market equity portfolios. He then spent 18 months as a portfolio analyst with the British Steel pension fund.

This is his fourth appearance in the Top 100, having first appeared on the list in 2019.
