Austen Robilliard manages Murdoch’s investment team and oversees the firm’s fund research and portfolio management functions, while also sitting on the investment committee as deputy chair.

He started with Murdoch as a trainee analyst in 2007, and has since progressed to investment director, joining the Citywire Top 30 Under 30 class of 2013 along the way.

Over the last 12 months the company has ‘broadened the number of funds within our ESG model portfolios, introducing direct US equities earlier this year’.

‘On the unconstrained models, our preferred student accommodation Reit was taken private late last year, which we initially replaced with an alternative property Reit, but on valuation concerns recycled into infrastructure assets,’ he said.
