Ben Seager-Scott, a Wealth Manager Top 100 regular, holds a number of responsibilities at Evelyn Partners. These include managing the investment strategy team, stewardship & responsible investment team, and passive portfolio management team. He also chairs the asset allocation committee, and is the lead manager on the Smart fund-of-funds range.

He joined Tilney BestInvest in 2011, where he became increasingly involved in the firm’s investment strategy and research throughout its evolution. He was appointed as chief investment strategist in 2017 and became head of multi-asset funds in April 2019 - a role he has retained through the merger with Smith & Williamson.  

Seager-Scott sits on the stewardship council for City Hive, a think-tank and advocacy group which engages with companies and grassroots to cultivate an inclusive investment management industry. He is also a holder of a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of East Anglia.
