Damien Lardoux has led the impact investing team at EQ Investors for almost four years.

He joined the firm in 2012 as an impact portfolio manager and investment analyst. He played a key part in the launch of the EQ Positive Impact Portfolios in the same year.

Although Lardoux admits that the growth bias of sustainable portfolios has hurt performance over the past year, he is adamant that the climate transition will continue to be a top investment theme for the next few years.

Lardoux wants to see the industry walk the talk on climate transition, disclose progress towards net zero, and push underlying companies and their stakeholders to embrace net zero.
