Edward Heath-Thompson began his career in in 2009 at Brewin Dolphin, after graduating from University of Exeter with an MSc finance & investment.

He then went on to build up the investment proposition at a fintech start up, before joining Coutts as a fund analyst in 2016. He currently leads the analyst team at the bank, specialising in UK and thematic equities.

He describes the Schroder Income strategy as his best performing fund over the last year and ‘maintaining value exposure [and] not reducing mid cap earlier’ as his best and worst ideas of the period respectively.

He lists Artemis UK Select as his top hidden gem and the Brevan Howard Absolute Return Government Bond fund as his most recent addition.
