Isabel Emo Capodilista has spent more than a decade at Aviva Investors. In her current role she heads fund research, selection, and due diligence. She is also responsible for integrating Aviva’s ESG framework throughout the research process.

Capodilista began her investment career 20 years ago, following a master’s degree in environment and development at the London School of Economics, as an analyst at Innovest Strategic Value Advisers. She later joined Abrdn to work within the firm’s discretionary portfolio management team.

During this time, she played an integral role in the establishment of Standard Life Wealth. She was promoted to senior research analyst in 2010, where she supported the development of their multi-manager proposition.  

Capodilista is a CAIA charterholder.
