
Head of portfolio management, James Saunders is responsible for Tatton’s £11.2bn assets under management across the company’s in-house model portfolios.
He joined Tatton as a quantitative analyst in 2017 and was promoted to deputy head of investment before being promoted to his current role in 2020.
Before joining Tatton, he spent over five years at the multi-family office, Sandaire as a portfolio manager, having joined the business via its acquisition of Lord North Street.
Saunders gained a MSc in economics from the University of Warwick and a MSc in quantitative finance and risk management from the University of Newcastle. In addition to these qualifications he is also a CFA charterholder.
