John Leiper joined Titan Asset Management in 2017 and has risen rapidly from senior portfolio manager to head of portfolio management in 2018 and chief investment officer in 2020.

He says the iShares Bloomberg Enhanced Roll Yield Commodity Swap ETF has been his best performer over the last 12 months, but is coy about his hidden gem, saying it will remain ‘hidden’.

Leiper is a member of the society of technical analysts and holds a BSc degree in economics from Warwick University as well as an MSc in economic history from the London School of Economics. He is additionally a CFA and FDP charterholder.

Before joining Titan, Leiper was an assistant vice president at Credit Suisse, having begun his career at Morgan Stanley.
