Green-fingered Julia Warrander has spent 11 years at Jersey-based Affinity Private Wealth, which has a focus on charitable giving advice and sustainable investing.  

Prior to Affinity, Warrander was an investment manager at Fairbairn Private Bank for three years in Jersey. She also took a few years out from finance between 2003 and 2005 to set up her own landscape design company.  

Her first commission was for the Duke of Westminster, while other works included a design for a dry garden on the Island of Elba. While running the business, she also completed a Landscape & Garden Design diploma at KLC School of Design.  

Back in the finance world, she worked as a vice president at Goldman Sachs in New York between 2000 and 2002, and was global head of fixed income eCommerce marketing.
