Justin Oliver currently chairs Canaccord’s portfolio construction committee, is a member of the asset allocation and fund selection committees, and oversees several of its fund ranges.

He has worked for more than two decades at the business and describes passing his 20th anniversary as a career highlight. He would like to see greater transparency in the industry, with less of a focus on ‘box-ticking’ exercises and more meaningful developments which genuinely enhance professionalism.

After graduating, he began his career in 1994 at Kleinwort Benson. He joined Canaccord Genuity in 2000, working his way up to his current role with a focus on the international offices of the Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man group. Oliver is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in business studies.
