A global equity fund research specialist, Mark Rowe-Ham has over 15 years’ experience in private client investment management. Before joining JM Finn in 2020, he spent 13 years with Brewin Dolphin, followed by spells with Tilney and Close Brothers.
His best investment call this year has been to reduce exposure early to higher growth strategies and long-duration assets, such as the technology sector.
His preferred funds list has seen little change over the last year, however. Rowe-Ham’s team, which manages approximately £250m in client assets, has focused on diversification, and the impact of higher interest rates on some previous top-performers.
He names Guinness Global Equity Income as both his top-performer and as a hidden gem.
