After 15 years with Hargreaves Lansdown as a senior analyst in the fund research team, Meera Hearnden joined Parmenion in 2014.

She is heavily involved in all aspects of the investment team’s work, including risk analysis and asset allocation, and chairs the team’s fund research meetings.

She says there has been minimal change to the company’s 100-strong buylist, with just few a changes including the additions of Foresight UK Infrastructure Income, Gravis UK Infrastructure Income, Janus Henderson Absolute Return and the L&G Short Dated Sterling Corporate Bond as part of its recently-created alternatives allocation.

She adds: ‘Our focus on risk naturally leads us to pick funds that are less volatile in nature and this has held us in good stead.’
