Paris Jordan started her investment career as an analyst at Fidelity in 2012. She then moved to Sanlam two years later, where she helped found the company’s socially responsible portfolios in 2016.

Jordan joined Waverton Investment Management as a multi-asset analyst in 2021. She says the ‘core’ of the fund selection committee has remained the same over the last year but the company has sought non-traditional diversification as equities and bonds have been routed.

‘Value has become a bigger play in this inflationary environment,’ she said. ‘Thematics and alternatives have also played their part. [We have] removed some Japanese exposure. [And] structured products have been popular during recent bouts of volatility.’
