After his Top 100 debut in 2021, Astute chief investment officer Scott Osborne makes a return appearance, two years after joining the Liverpool firm from Brown Shipley.
Osborne said that the most recent addition to his firm’s buy list has been the Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste fund, while his ‘hidden gem’ has been the Gresham House Energy Storage strategy, which he believes is ‘essential’ for an effective energy transition.

The fund selector said that if he didn’t work in wealth management, he would be prime minister. ‘It seems criteria for selection are pretty low these days anyway,’ he quipped.
