Following a career in political advocacy and business management, Stacey Parrinder-Johnson joined the investment industry at Investec in Leeds in 2005. She transferred to the research team in 2013, was promoted to senior fund selector in 2017 and became chief investment officer in 2021.

Speaking to Citywire in 2020, she said her former role as an investment manager continually informs her selection decisions. ‘When I’m meeting fund managers, one of the key things I look for is someone who thinks like a private client and has the end needs of the client in mind at all times.’

In her free time, Parrinder-Johnson enjoys cross-country skiing and gravel biking, and has a keen interest in early twentieth century art.
