Tom Jemmett joined LGT in 2018 and chairs both the authorised collectives and investment trust committees, as well as heading authorised funds at the firm.

He made his first appearance in the Top 100 in 2016 while at Brewin Dolphin, where he spent a decade and where he was responsible for fund selection in both open- and closed-ended funds across several sectors, as well as developing the firm’s quantitative analysis tools and due diligence process.

His career has also taken in Merill Lynch, and following its acquisition, BlackRock. Here, he was a member of the risk and quantitative analysis team.

Upon his graduation with a degree in business studies, he started his finance career at Combined Actuarial Performance Services.

LGT now manages over £21 billion in client assets.
