Making his second consecutive appearance in the Wealth Manager Top 100, Tom Sparke has now spent 14 years managing portfolios at GDIM, which he joined from platform business Transact.

He says the addition of a number of passive options has been one of the most significant changes to his buylist in the last year, particularly ESG-focussed passive strategies. Global thematics have also been added.

He says his best idea this year was ‘leaning into the reliability and stability of infrastructure investments, which have low volatility income streams which have been very valuable in recent times.
